In-office and Home Whitening
Who is Invisalign good for?
Whitening gels contain an active whitening ingredient that penetrates your enamel to get to discolored molecules. Oxygen molecules from the whitening agents react with the discolored molecules in your teeth, breaking the bonds that hold them together. The oxygen molecules spread, whitening the entire tooth. As a result, you are left with a brighter, whiter smile
Is whitening safe and effective? What about sensitivity?
Whitening products have been clinically studied for more than three decades and safely used on millions of patients without harm to teeth or gums. At Park Dental, we use the most effective and proven whitening gel system to give you the results you want safely. For tetracycline stains and other severe stains, which were previously thought to be impossible to brighten, we use the KöR Whitening system, to effectively remove those stains.
During or after a whitening session, some experience minor sensitivity or discomfort, but they do not cause any permanent sensitivity issues or damage the nerve.
